Nick is based in Worcestershire and is an independent education consultant for Design Technology and Engineering. He is also a BSF consultant and chief examiner. Nick recently left TEP following several years leading Design and Technology education and curriculum reform as a director and technical writer. With a strong D&T leadership background, he is keen to develop sustainability issues as well as emerging technologies into mainstream D&T activity and Diplomas as well as securing education-industry partnerships.
Located in Derbyshire, Allen is an LEA Senior subject advisor with a wealth of experience in D&T as a faculty head and as a senior lecturer at Nottingham Trent University. Allen has contributed widely to the subject nationally as a technical writer and presenter. He has a keen interest in electronics education and is a regular presenter to national audiences. Allen is passionate about retaining skills and active capability in the classroom.
DTEP activities are focused on making an effective and lasting contribution to the teaching and learning of design and technology across the United Kingdom.
Mark is a rare talent as a successful D&T practitioner and artist. He now concentrates his efforts as a materials specialist and consultant developing education/industry programmes. Mark is particularly interested in CADCAM and Robotics and supports a wide variety of CPD events. Mark was a regular contributor to magazine features and classroom products. His main work now focuses on modern materials, processing and being a mad inventor.
